Massachusetts businesses may be able to fund this training with the Workforce Training Fund Program.

The Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP), administered by Commonwealth Corporation, helps employers pay for skills-based training for their Massachusetts employees. Bifrost courses are designed to meet the program's guidelines for instructor-led, work-hours training.

Smaller firms

Express Program

A fast, reimbursement-based grant for eligible Massachusetts employers with 100 or fewer employees. You choose a listed course, apply, and are reimbursed after the training is completed and paid for.

  • Covers off-the-shelf, instructor-led courses delivered during work hours
  • Grants are capped per person, per course, and per business each calendar year
  • Applicants need a Certificate of Good Standing, a DUA Certificate of Compliance, and a signed W-9
Larger firms

General Program

Employers with more than 100 Massachusetts employees can apply to the General Program, which funds broader, multi-course training plans through a competitive application. The employer applies and names its training vendor.

Training that is legally mandated, such as OSHA-required courses, is not eligible.
